Welcome to my "Me" page

I would like to introduce myself to all of you who have not already met me through eBay or the different avenues of my work. I have been interested in art my whole life and have ventured through many mediums such as oil and acrylic painting, pyrography (wood burning), plaster relief, signs, interior design, and custom woodwork. I am a third generation artist which includes some members from both sides of my family; I won my first prize at a very early age for artistic abilities and have devoted many years to different types of art and plaster relief work.  Presently, I am selling on eBay and doing commissioned paintings.

Some of the most enjoyable things to me are my animals that have given me so much love and pleasure over the years. At one time I had seven cats and two dogs (all in the house) and never felt there was not enough room for one more.I enjoy reading, writing, playing flamenco guitar, and shopping on eBay when time permits. The most important thing that happened in my life was when I met the Lord Jesus in 1982.

My paintings are most often of Kinetic, an exceptionally wonderful four year old tuxedo cat that has chosen to live with me.  His antics amaze me; his eyes are ever changing with his thoughts and moods - a wonderful specimen to paint.  Animals are my passion, especially cats, and what’s in my heart will most assuredly be reflected in my art.

I am an award winning artist with my most recent award - 3rd place in eBay's "Artist Choice Awards" in the category of Small Format Imaginative and Creative.
