Lee Anne is one of those artist who tends to think outside the box, breaking from the norm of illustrators she does art for arts sake. A Native Texan she has been doing art most of her life starting with professional lessons at the age of ten and then selling her first paining at 11 she knew from an early age just what she wanted to be.
Mesmerized by the illustrations in her fairy tale books she longed to illustrate the classical tales herself and follow in the footsteps of Tasha Tudor, Aurthur Rackham, Alphonse Mucha and Edmund Dulac. Her passion for art has lead to an amazing career with her work appearing in and on an array of magazines, books, game related items and merchandise. She has had the honor to work with a number of top publishers and writers in her 15 year career such as ICE Games, DNA Publications, Goodman Games, and the Texas Renaissance Festival to name a few. In 1998 Lee won the prestigious L Ron Hubbard Illustrators of the future contest and went on to found the charity organization Art Against AID's which raised money through art projects for pediatric aids hospices. Today Lee is active with the charity organization's BPRC in which through her art helps them raise awareness and funds for research for breast cancer. As well as BARC raising money to help Houston become a no kill city for homeless animals.
She also has started a mentoring program for young artist helping them learn how to approach companies and get hired.
