Sorting My Mother-in-Law's Tupperware

My husband and I live on a farm in West Central Illinois. I am a retired second grade teacher and my husband is a retired farmer and bus mechanic. I am a collector my nature! I collect old and unusual musical instruments, Howell & Co. Geneva irons and fluters, collie statues, Spinning Wheels, Lefton Rustic Daisy pieces, and a variety of other things..... I love music and play a variety of instruments...guitar, bass, hammered dulcimer, etc. I especially love old time and Bluegrass music and play upright bass and sing with the band Crooked Creek.

We began selling Vintage Tupperware on Ebay when my mother-in-law passed away. She was a Tupperware Dealer for over 30 years and we were left with rooms full of new and used Tupperware. We decided that the best way to dispense of her 'collection' was to allow Tupperware lovers everywhere to bid on it on Ebay. We had such a great time and met so many wonderful people that we decided to continue selling Tupperware for fun. Both my husband and I love auctions and garage sales and have made Saturdays our Tupperware 'hunting' day. (I do the buying and my husband does the carrying!) All the the pieces that we sell are hand washed (I wash...my husband dries!)

I have bought items on Ebay for many years and have always appreciated individuals who supply thorough descriptions. That is why I take the extra time to describe items in detail. We do this for fun and want buyers to know exactly what they are getting before they bid. I would much rather see buyers pleasantly surprised that the pieces were in better condition than they expected than to be disappointed with their purchases!
