DENHAM BASKETRY
Victoria here! I am originally from the great state of Arizona...home of the greatest wonder of the world.....................................................................me... ..LOL..Not really silly rab'et..the... GRAND CANYON. I moved from my beautiful home state in my twenties to Jacksonville, Florida (another wonderful, spiritually enriching experience) and now I call Chattanooga, Tennessee home for myself and my little furry friends. We live in a grand old house - in a grand old section - of a grand old city - Chattanooga Choo Chooooooo! You would not believe how truly beautiful it is here. This is where I run my small homestyle animal shelter...Kitties running everywhere...with my back yard divided into sections for many homeless, unwanted dogs. I do my best to love each and every one...Of course, the kitties have to work on my chain gang for food...lol...look at all the baskets they weave, and their gourd work..well, it speaks for itself...ha...ha..Actually it is tough some weeks to feed everyone..I do my best and live on faith..I just keep listing all the goodies I can make and find..each week I have many things listed on eBay and I have an online shop of hand-crafted goodies at Ruby Lane (.com) under the name La Villa Victoria. Hope you will stop by anytime!!

I plan to put a photo page on soon of some of these dear sweet souls who only want to love and be loved...I did do some photo cards which are in my shop

When I can get away...not often enough..I go camping and hiking . I love nature and nature loves me. As you will see by my auctions I collect all sorts of things that bring outdoors inside. Nature is a comforting soul....that brings me to how I became a weaver. Our lives are woven, just as our clothes and my baskets. Weaving in Arizona was another lifetime with another form of basket. Today I weave the new form of my life...circles and loops..I am free, no lines to keep inside. These days' I take my Q's from mother nature.. I call the new creations that flow from my soul DENHAM bird nest baskets. They have become an extension of my inner self. When someone loves my baskets enough to purchase one I am renewed with artistic energy. One "DENHAM" basket in every pot..can I sell you a gourd hat..lol...Ooooops..wrong speech..LOOK HERE...JUST BUY MY STUFF and I will rattle on no more..Check out my web pages ... you will understand my ravings... said the raven no more! It takes a little time to load my pages...forgive....I love things that dart about and move like crazy, ask all my x boyfriends...teee...heee...the kitties say I am part Cat...who would have thought??? LOL
