I LOVE reading the "About Me" page created by Ebay buyers and sellers. I don't know why it has taken me so long to make one of my own. It's probably the procrastination part of my nature, but I'll worry about that later! I really do love to read about others on Ebay and am always interested and curious about all of the people that I deal with (another part of my nature). I always wonder where each item that I sell is going and imagine what each buyer is like. I've met some truly wonderful people through Ebay (and thankfully only a few who make me want to pull my hair out)!
Now about me.....Ebay has been a wonderful creative outlet for me and in many ways, a sanity saver! Since I was sixteen I've always had a job and many times more than one job. During the last 8 years of my working career, I owned a consignment shop. Even though I worked more hours than I EVER had at any "real" job, it was truly a labor of love and it broke my heart to close that store! I still run in to past customers and they tell me how much they loved coming in to poke around and find some wonderful treasure. My mom helped me for many years. She would come as soon as she left her "real" job and work the last few hours for me each day. Those were some great times!
After 8 years of business I closed the doors to become a mom to my first child. I was one of those "older" moms and just couldn't manage a brand new baby and a demanding business. For goodness sakes....I had NEVER even changed a diaper before I had my own baby! Now I have two little girls and I thank GOD for my Ebay business! He has blessed me more than I could ever say in one little "About Me" page. Ebay has given me excitement and mental stimulation through diapers, baby food, teething and now preschool and first grade!
I love to hunt for treasures and on any given day you will find an assortment of items in either my auctions or my store. What can I say....I just love selling other people's stuff! And even after all these years, my mom is still my biggest fan!
