This is Lazy River Books here based in Boston, Massachusetts. Also the world famous book cat, Blue Bart (Pictures available upon request). We carry all kinds of books but among the kinds we really like are Sherlock Holmes (Everything from Sherlock Holmes, Bridge Detective to Basil of Baker Street); Alternate History (The Germans won WWII or maybe something a little stranger like the Aztecs were never conquered by Cortez); also the British Empire in the 19th century (We love those little wars); and quite a few other things. But really we just pick up books of fiction and non fiction of all sorts. Whatever we find interesting or believe other people may want, and if we find it interesting, then surely some other people will as well.
We started about 2001 as a sideline to our full time job then with Boston's Avenue Victor Hugo Bookshop, and we have been growing in one way and another ever since. (Victor Hugo's was a brick and mortar,but like so many places in Boston, it has now moved entirely on the internet). While our inventory will continue to grow, we also hope to expand in other ways as well: perhaps our own site, blogging, listing on more bookselling sites (we're currently on about 5 or 6). And maybe someday we will move from cold/humid Boston back to sunny, warm California
