About me: LETHAL LITHICS™ is the trade name for these fine art masterpieces, hand-crafted by flintknapper Barry Howe (that's me). My work is nationally known and highly sought after, and I am offering these unique items on eBay for the very first time! While some of my blades will exhibit parallel or oblique flaking, most of my larger blades will show a combination of random percussion and pressure-flaking scars. These result from a highly labor-intensive and authentic flaking technique, adding to the primal appeal -- and giving the blade much more character than the machine-made look of the "flake-over-grinding" method. A hallmark of my knives is that the blade and handle are designed together, not just "some blade stuck into some handle." The result is a synergy of beauty in design, materials and workmanship that places my knives in a class by themselves. These "Executive Letter Openers" make the perfect gift for the discriminating executive, outdoorsman, serious collector, or anyone who appreciates fine art or ancient weaponry.
