How to Use My Store
Obviously, I have a lot of books. I've tried to categorize them as best I can, but since eBay only allows a certain number of store categories, I can't get them as perfectly organized as I'd like. Your best bet of finding exactly the book you want in my store will be using my store's search engine. You can access it several ways:
- Each and every listing of mine has a search box in my header above the description (find my logo and look to the right)
- Click on the little price tag icon next to my name, or find the "Visit this seller's eBay store!" link at the top of every auction. Once in my store, there will be a search box to the left of the page.
I have lots and lots of books, both listed and not listed, at any given time. Should you be looking for something specific and not see it in my store, please EMAIL ME - I just may have it in my waiting to be listed stash. If so, I will list it and email you with a link. If not, I will keep my eyes open for it in while I shop for more books.
I COMBINE SHIPPING!!
Yes, I combine shipping, and I'm happy to do it. Every auction has a table of shipping fees in it. Yes, this is exactly what you will be charged for shipping - there are no hidden fees. However, in order for me to combine shipping, YOU MUST PAY FOR YOUR ITEMS IN ONE COMBINED PAYMENT!!!!. I can't stress this enough. Paypal requires me to provide a tracking number for every payment I accept in order to be covered by their Seller Protection Plan. If I accept multiple payments, I must make multiple shipments. And if I must make multiple shipments, I must charge you shipping on every payment you make. See how much that scenario stinks? Not only that, but Paypal charges me fees on every payment I accept. Paypal fees are part of doing business, I know, but I like to minimize them wherever I can, and accepting only one payment per transaction with you is one way of doing that. If you need help combining your payment, email me before you do anything. If you make multiple payments, expect all of them to be refunded and expect to receive a combined invoice asking you to pay for everything again in one shot. I hate to have to do this, but it helps me stay competitive in my pricing so I can give you great deals.
How I Do Business
- I'm at my computer every day for long stretches - therefore, I can always get back to you in a reasonable amount of time to answer questions. So ask away!
- I accept Paypal (any form of funding - your credit cards are welcome (through Paypal) here!) and money orders. You must email me after purchase to get my mailing address so you can mail the money order. I no longer allow eBay to give out my address - this is not because I'm afraid to let you know where I live. It is because it's my best way of ensuring that the lines of communication are open. Otherwise I just have no clue what's going on!
- I ship several times per week. I am a SAHM to a beautiful little boy, so eBay is fit around naptimes and playtime and activities. I don't usually ship on any set day per week, but my most COMMON shipping days are Mondays and Thursdays. If you don't have any special shipping needs, your item will be shipped within 2-4 days. I am more than happy to make special accomodations for shipment - just contact me and let me know and I'll take care of it ASAP.
- Shipping methods are as follows:
- Items that are NOT books, movies, or music that weigh LESS than 13oz are shipped First Class Mail.
- Items that are NOT books, movies, or music that weigh MORE than 13oz are shipped Priority Mail.
- Items that are ARE books, movies, or music that weigh any amount are shipped Media Mail.
- Extra heavy items such as large clothing lots are likely to be shipped Parcel Post Mail, but if requested, it can be shipped Airborne Express/DHL or UPS (please, no FedEx since there are no convenient shipping locations for them near me).
- I will always try my best to make you, as a customer, happy. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns BEFORE you involve eBay or Paypal or leave feedback - as rational adults, we should be able to fix any problems together :)
About My Other Goodies
I love to sell things other than books as well. My favorite non-book things to sell are childrens Gymboree and Hanna Andersson clothing, and childrens and exercise VHS and DVDs. However, if those things don't interest you, keep checking back with me. You never know what special goodies I might find to bring to you!
About Me
I am a stay-at-home-mom to a beautiful little boy and two obnoxious (yet somehow still my "babies") furchildren of the feline variety. I do eBay to make money for the "extras" in life (right now, the proceeds from the items I sell are being turned into Christmas gifts for my family), although it does also help bring home some groceries or pay a bill when the paycheck doesn't stretch as far as it should. This is a great activity for me because it allows me to fulfill my shopping urges while not continuously overpowering our home with "stuff."
