Thanks for checking out Heroes For Sale. I got the name from the movie True Romance where Christian Slater works at a comic book store by that name.

I have been in the sports card industry since I was 6 years old running errands for show promoters getting Hank Aaron soup, finding blue sharpies for Wilt Chamberlain, yelling at Sergei Fedorov who wanted to fight me, breaking up a fight with Rickey Henderson and his agent, you name it in the sports memorabilia and card industry I have done it. I have worked for All American which put on some of the biggest shows in the 80's including the National. Thyberg Sports Marketing who had private signings with many of the biggest names ever in sports, RIP Randy. Then worked for Scoreboard on a distribution level. Followed by Field of Dreams/Sports Spectacular which gave me a great oppurtunity to meet some of the true legends in sports like Muhammad ALI, Mickey Mantle, Joe Dimaggio,Ted Williams etc. Then onto B&G promotions where I ran the autographs along with my brother for many stars like Pete Rose,Willie Mays,Brett Favre, Joe Namath & more. While I was doing that I voluntered with Tony LaRussa's Animal Rescue Foundation. These were great shows that offered fans a chance to get autographs from many stars at a fraction of the cost with all of the money going to a great cause. Occasionally I still work at shows and signings, but not like I used to.

 All autographs I sell are ones that I or another employee of mine have obtained or I deem to be 100 % authentic through my many years of knowledge in the industry.

I started covering Boxing fights and Mixed Martial Arts fights on the West Coast and occasionally in other places around the country. I also trained in MMA and have cornered many fighters at shows like the IFC,King of the Cage and Gladiator Challenge. This has giving me great access to many fighters who I am on a first name basis with. Many of these guys are great down to earth regular guys who are now finally getting attention they deserve.

      Almost every signature I get from a Boxer or MMA fighter I obtained myself. Very rarely do I have items that I did not get but in those cases I get them from a source that is 100 reputable.
