My name is Vergie, the owner of Sunshine Accents.

I am a proud mom of 2 children, 1 very spoiled Bengal Cat and grandma to 1 precious grandchild. My oldest daughter is a RN student at Bloomsburg University, my youngest daughter is a Photography/Journalism student at Edinboro University and a US Marine.

I have been in the retail industry for 18+ years. After many years and long hours of working for others, my experience has given me the knowledge and ability to pursue my individual passion of providing the consumer with quality products at affordable prices. Thus, Sunshine Accents, formerly The Norry Nook was founded in April of 2001. Originally located in Northumberland, Pennsylvania, the brick and mortar gift shop was closed in October 2004 due to a substantial growth in internet sales and re-location. The Sunshine Accents sales office is now located in Milton, Pennsylvania. This move has allowed Sunshine Accents to better serve the online shopper by the ability to tap into a wider open market and expand the selection of quality products that are offered.
