Linda's "Mystical Turtles" brings a world of eclectic items to your home Having fun in Florida Mount Katahdin in late September Maine Greetings Friends,  Five years ago I was given an opportunity to leave my career as a library director in New Hampshire (I was the library director for 13 years) to join my husband (his job allowed us to live in Asia (Singapore) and I was able to spread my wings and explore the wonders of Asia and more.  Prior to living in Asia I did not know how much I liked to shop-each country we lived in (for 3 weeks or so) I had to buy addtional luggage to bring back to Singapore the treasures I found.  Upon our return home I decided to start selling things on ebay, items included things from my husband's parents estate that we did not need or could not use. My mother in law was a wonderful artist and did some beautiful hand painted plates.  I have kept the ones that are special to us and offer the others to the ebay community. When my dad passed away (my mom died a month after Jim's mom 5 years ago) I inherited many items from their home. Again in order to downsize our lives I am offerring some of his books and other items that I do not have room for or do not want. My mother in law loved jewelry so I will keep adding some of her jewelry to my ebay store and site.  In May 2007 I became ill and lost my sight in my right eye.  I was diagnosed with diabetes II and am so much healthier now than in May. My eyesight returned the end of July thankfully. During that time I stopped adding to my auctions.  In September 2007 we moved north of Portland to a small beautiful town called Lincoln,  Lincoln is home to 13 lakes and ponds and Mt. Katahdin is not to far from here.  My health is much better and I am now working at the library director in Lincoln. I have been slow to add to my auctions as I was busy learning about our new hometown and new job.  Watch often as I will be offerring a wide variety of items over the next year.  I love to read, make jewelry (coming soon to my store), kayaking, doing mosaics (coming soon) and just living life to the fullest.  I have been married to the most wonderful man (who does have faults but is a good man overall) for 22 years and we have a son who is 34 this year and a 11 year old grandson Jordan who is very special to us.  He spends a lot of time with us.  We also have a dachshund Bailey who is 4 years old and a cockatail Galah and a senegal parrot Kiwi.  We are enjoying this wonderful change and hope someday to return to Asia.
