Lin Li is a self-taught Chinese artist who lives in the Greenville area of South Carolina, USA. He works as a software engineer and enjoys making Chinese painting and calligraphy in free time.

He paints on rice paper, watercolor paper, and cardstock, with Chinese black ink and watercolors. His favorite painting subjects include plum blossoms, bamboo, lotus, KOI fish, cats, pandas and landscape. He also likes to make custom calligraphy with names in Chinese.

Lin Li has been practicing Chinese painting and calligraphy for more than 30 years. Before he came to USA in 1990, he won top prizes in a few calligraphy competitions in Guangzhou and became a member of the Guangzhou City's Association of Calligraphers.

He started selling art at eBay in 2003. Customers' satisfaction is his top priority. He packages his artworks carefully to make sure they don't get damaged during shipping. He ships small art cards/bookmarks in rigid sleeves and other works rolled in heavy mailing tubes.
