Designer With Passion Lynne and Hubby I'm a lover of life with all its beauty, drama, diversity, color, humor and quirks. I've always been a student of design and studied art courses in school although it didn't lead to anything until I started to design my own jewelry about 15 years ago. Friends urged me to sell my designs and after finally taking them up on their suggestion I started Green Feather Studio. I named the company after my Amazon parrot and her beautiful tail feather is in the logo. My creative juices flow towards photography also. This past year I decided to do a photo journal of my garden and its inhabitants and plan to do one this year, as well. I've included links to some of my pics below. Photography helps me connect to nature... Georgie of the Jungle Nature turns me on and I'm very fortunate to be married to a part-time master gardener who, with my creative help, has built a fabulous botanical, vegetable and water garden for us in our backyard. We have a waterfall, stream and pond and the sounds of the water are absolutely Zen-like. The stream lures all the neighborhood birds to drink and bathe and I love to sit on the patio and gaze at them. Thousands of flowers bloom throughout the growing season in all shades of the rainbow enticing butterflies, hummingbirds and bees. The vegetable garden calls to the rabbits. lol. We've also been fortunate enough to have traveled to various countries around the world but my favorite trip was to the Galapagos Islands--Darwin's Laboratory. Absolutely amazing adventure for anyone who wants a unique tour of wonderful wildlife and stunning scenery.
