Tahoe Wigs and Fashion Accessories serves as a discount outlet for our main online business, Ace Wigs, the Original WigsiteTM. We’ve been online for over 12 years offering upwards of 4,000 different styles of fashion wigs, medical wigs, costume and theatrical wigs, and hair extensions -- plus wig care products, costumes, hats and other fashion accessories.

When searching under the keyword “wigs” on Yahoo, we are in the Number One position, and are usually in the Number Two or Number Three position on Google. Selling wigs is our livelihood, not just a pastime to bring in a few extra bucks every once in awhile! We are dedicated to providing the best wigs at the lowest possible prices, offering kind and caring customer service, as well.

We have won industry awards (for the past five years in a row) for selling more wigs than any other retailer in the world – this includes both salons and online businesses. We have supplied wigs to both male and female recording artists (can’t say who, but let’s just say one of them is tremendously famous and has been in the need of wigs after shaving her head last year!). We’ve also supplied wigs for the latest Star Wars movie, the Halloween Fright Night at Universal Studios, NFL football team promotions, the military for covert operations in Iraq, and for countless theatrical productions, parades and school plays.

However…we feel our most important accomplishment has been to provide medical wigs to women who have suffered hair loss due to chemotherapy, alopecia and other medical causes. The owner/operator of Tahoe Wigs and Fashion Accessories was diagnosed with cancer in 2003 and underwent chemotherapy, losing every hair on her head in the process. Having gone through this traumatic experience first-hand, she has become especially aware of the needs and emotions of cancer patients who are anticipating or currently facing hair loss issues. She can also offer hope and encouragement that the hair eventually WILL grow back – hers is now nearly waist-length and still growing…!
