Back to previous page  My EBAY Story........ Heather & Nick in the woods I was born & raised in "AROOSTOOK COUNTY" Northeren 1/2 of Maine. I worked full time nursing @ a local retirement center for the last 15 years.In May of 2006 I had to have major back surgery & was out of work for a few months. I returned to work & in June of 2007 , I had to have another surgery this time I did not return to nursing. Being recently divorced & having a son who was 8 I needed to find something to replace my income....EBAY I had sold things before on Ebay here & there, & had seen all the infomercials but always thought, "I CAN'T DO THAT". But guess what, I DID!!!! I started selling off things we had that we didn't need or want. Then Started hunting for bargins, & well here I am a PowerSeller on ebay. now at my house, if someone has something missing the 1st thing they ALWAYS say is, "Mom did you sell it on Ebay" I started an Ebay store but ponder over different names, and prayed about them too. Then it came to me. My Papa who was a very active part of my young life passed away when I was 8 of a massive heart attack. I remember spend the night & every morning, when I would get out of bed he would always sing "You are my Sunshine". Hence the name of my Ebay store.... My Little Sunshine Shoppe.
