Hi! Thank you for stopping by my store! I am so happy you are here!!!!

A little bit about me.... I have two BEAUTIFUL children- JT and Julianne. JT is almost 4 and Julianne is 18 months old (as of October 2009). They are my joy and inspiration! I work full-time, so I try to be as responsive as possible to inquiries and I do ship quickly, but I am bound by the time constraints of my "real" jobs (career & family)! I sell new and used children's clothing, though I am gradually selling off my inventory of new clothing. I have found I am NOT super woman (quite the blow to my ego) and just don't seem to have the time to manage a large volume of inventory AND be able to spend quality time with my children and hubby! Going forward, I will be focusing solely on selling my kids' "pre-loved" clothing and I also sell for another busy Mommy here in town. These items will be sold both through my store and at auction.


Now for the not-so-fun stuff. A few items/ policies that I would like to bring to your attention:

1. Please, please, please DO NOT BID OR COMMIT TO PURCHASE IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF PAYING!!! I hate to even bring this up, but it's really becoming a nasty trend lately. Please- we are all trying to survive in these tough economic times and it's just not fair at all to do that to a seller. I consider myself a compassionate and fair human being- if you are having an issue paying, please communicate with me so we can work something out. It is nothing personal, but be aware that I WILL file a claim upon the 4th day of nonpayment to recover my Ebay fees and relist the item. (I say this because I've had some personal attacks from buyers when I've had to file a claim after a week of no responses to my payment reminders). Once I file a claim, Ebay will send a payment reminder to you and you will still have the opportunity to pay within a few days. My standard process is: send payment reminder after 3 days (my requested payment timeframe), file on 4th day. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. And to all my timely payers and loyal customers... YOU'RE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!

2. Though items in my store have "free" shipping... this is something I simply utilize to simplify things. I think it's easiest if you can look at one price and know exactly what you will have to pay (and, especially on heavier items, shipping varies depending on your distance from me). But be aware that I don't have a special connection- shipping is not really "free"- it is a cost to me. So please consider that shipping is part of the listed price and can be a considerable part of the price on lower priced items or large lots. I'm a sucker for "free" shipping- and will typically seek out sellers that offer it- but we all know that it's not really "free". That's also why I now charge a restocking fee on my shoe and heavier items returned equal to my shipping cost.

3. I do offer returns on some of my new with tag items in the store- I want you to be happy. Return shipping will be at your expense unless the return is due to my error. But all pre-loved items, toys, auctions and some seasonal items (such as costumes) are FINAL sale. I will also accept a return on these items only if I have made an error.

4. Please read my listings in their entirety before committing to purchase. I know I tend to be "verbose"- sorry!- but, as they say, "ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law". In other words, my terms and conditions are laid out in my listings and have been revised over time as I have come across new situations. I think you will find I am fairly easy to work with in most situations.

5. My feedback is VERY VERY important to me. I strive to offer excellent customer service and to make my customers happy. If there is an issue with an item, PLEASE contact me prior to leaving feedback. I will always attempt to work towards a solution that's mutually agreeable. I am only human - and DO make errors from time to time (shhh... don't tell my husband!).

6. Finally... regarding measurement requests: I try to get to them as soon as possible. Over time I have discovered that about 5% of the time measurement requests actually result in a sale for me. Anyone can perform a cost-benefit analysis and determine that it's not REALLY a productive use of my time to perform measurement requests frequently. Thus, I am limiting measurement requests to 1-2 days/ week. I will still do the measurements, but it may be a few days before you get a response. Please understand that it takes quite a bit of time to find the item, take it out of the bin, take it out of the plastic packaging I have so carefully placed it in, unfold it, take measurements, respond to the request, fold the item back up carefully, replace it in the packaging and then in the bin. I hate to sound cynical- but I implore you NOT to request measurements if you are not serious about purchasing the item. I have so many other productive ways I could be spending my time- including cuddling with my babies!!!!! Thank you for your understanding!!!!!!
