The Most Important Thing About Me:
The most important thing I would like people to know about me is that I'm a nice person.  I'm not out to rip anybody off.  I'm just ONE person (with some help from my husband at night and on the weekends) who does all the shopping, cleaning, photography, research, listing, question answering, packing, shipping, and feedback.  I go out hunting for nice things to sell and try only to sell things that I would want to buy.  I won't knowingly sell anything damaged or mis-described, but sometimes I do make a mistake.  When I do, I always try to make things right.

Contacting Me:
The best way (make that the ONLY WAY) to contact me is through eBay by using the Question for Seller form.  I have e-mail addresses associated with eBay, but because I have been around a while, they tend to get a lot of spam and ID theft/phishing mail, so I don't tend to look often and rarely answer there.  I sometimes SEND a photograph from there, but THROUGH eBAY is the best way to get answers or let me know things. If you go to the trouble of getting my phone number, LEAVE A MESSAGE because I don't answer calls from people I don't know.  I may STILL contact YOU through eBay because I don't like the phone much.

Shipping Nike Products to EEA:
I've had some trouble (A LOT) with Nike U.K. about shipping their products to the European Economic Area.  They like to enforce an arcane trademark rule that lets them prevent anybody from selling AUTHENTIC PRODUCTS to any place where they don't already sell them.  Therefore, the only time I can ship a Nike product ANYWHERE other than the USA or Canada is if I know POSITIVELY that it has been offered by sale -- which is pretty rare -- so generally, I simply can't do it.  I wish I could (I used to do it and make lots of people around the world happy) but I can't.  Sorry.  If this bothers you, I suggest you complain to Nike about their policy and behavior, you can do so to nike-ebay@hewitsons.com (the lawyer jerks in the UK who beat up on me for innocently selling shoes to the UK) with a cc to brand.guard@nike.com (their US counterparts) and pknight@nike.com (the boss).

Authenticity:
Everything I sell is absolutely and positively authentic.  PERIOD. End of story.  Without exception.  I do not sell fakes or counterfeits and stand by everything I sell.

Returns and Refunds:
I handle returns on a case by case basis.  If there is a problem, communicate with me (through eBay's Contact Seller form) as soon as possible, but always within 7 days of receipt of the item.  If there is to be a return, you will need to send the item back in the same condition it was sent.  I try to make everything right, but I am just an individual, not a department store like Nordstrom who can just take anything and everything back just because it "doesn't fit" or "doesn't match my shoes" or "I don't like it."

Color:
If the exact shade of color is going to matter, then buying/bidding online is going to be problematic for you.  The cameras we use and the monitors the pictures are displayed on have very different calibrations, and the flash can alter the hue and brightness as well.  Color is VERY subjective and inexact.  You should refer to the M_Claire Color Guide for more guidance.

Size:
If you have any questions about size, please ask for specific measurements.  I try to put as much information as I can into the listing and will try to answer measurement questions if they are asked with enough time before the auction ends.  Hips are a particularly difficult and subjective measurement, so if you want hips measured, please indicate how far down from the waist you would like them measured on an item.  In general, I measure flat and unstretched.  Some items (like stretch tops) can vary quite a bit from the unstretched measurement.

Feedback:
I prize my feedback and work hard to keep it as highly positive as it is.  I like to use feedback as a way to "close the loop" on a transaction, so I wait for the buyer to leave their positive feedback (indicating they are happy) and then I leave mine.  I do sometimes get behind (I have to shop, prepare, photograph, research, list, answer questions, and ship first), but I do always catch up eventually (usually at 3 a.m.).  If you leave me negative or neutral feedback without trying to communicate with me first (a direct violation of the rules and warning that eBay give you when you try to do so) then I will definitely give you a NEGATIVE for mis-use of the feedback process.  I work with buyers when they communicate with me, so I resent people who leave feedback without communicating.  Of course, these people probably won't bother reading this FAQ, but just in case they do, that's where I stand.
