MAIN INTERESTS AND HOBBIES
I have been interested in Country Music since I was about five years old and have loved it ever since. I have collected albums, 8-tracks, cassettes and CD's for many, many years and many of them are unopened...probably 40 to 45 years old. I have worked with many artists through the Country Music Association where I was employed for almost eight years. I worked with a major record shop in Nashville and after leaving there started my own mail order business under "THE RECORD SHOP" which is a home-based mail order service. I sell mainly Traditional Country, Bluegrass and Bluegrass Gospel Music...LP's, CD's and cassettes.
I worked with Bill & James Monroe where I helped promote festivals -- sold tickets at festivals and just had a lot of fun doing it.I addressed Christmas cards for a major female artist whose office at the time was in the same building as the CMA.
When I worked for the CMA I had artists record promotional spots for radio station members and met many, many great artists. All of them are even friendlier and easier to talk with than when you see them at a concert. Music has been an important part of my life and I would like to share some of my treasures with you through eBay.
