I appreciate your time and attention,Thank You!

My husband and I are avid collectors of many things, but it seems our single biggest collection is... DUST!

(Which is a lousy collectible for someone with asthma and allergies!)

After a long run of caregiving during crisis after crisis, family illnesses and deaths, we have moved and are getting back on track with our own lives! We enjoy spending time with our grandkids, serving our community, and participating in getting books and learning supplies to kids! My husband has been with his employer over 18 years, and I am an experienced restaurant skills trainer and manager. We are preparing for his retirement within the next few years and are doing some preparation in order to remodel our home

I am currently serving as a VISTA for Americorps, the domestic response initiative to Peacecorps.

I plan to return to college with the awards grant I will receive after my year of service, however, I'm having so much fun doing it that I may serve the full two years and double my education grant!

(I am working with the Early learning program and if anyone would like to help with donations of time or goods, I would LOVE to talk to you! )

Update:

Time flies! I am no longer serving Americorps, but have started back part-time to college on the educational award I received. YEA!

We have found lots of goodies from our first home and will be clearing out our estate for months I'm sure! Please shop our store for interesting finds, keepsakes and opportunities to help with some great charitable opportunities! You are greatly appreciated!
