Chasing Trains...
Greetings- I am ebay Seller LLove and have been selling on ebay since about 1998, usually toys, trains, military items and basically anything that is legal to sell. I am an honest seller and only sell on ebay as a hobby or second job, as I have a regular full time job. My goal is to write an honest and accurate ad while providing several pictures so the buyer will know what is being sold. I am a collector as well, but can not keep all treasrues so must sell some items so I can buy more.
If it is a train engine I usually test them and will indicate if it runs, instead of most sellers that say they don't know. Please don't be freightened by the terms and conditions of the sale, these are just there to lend protection in this litigious society. Most never read them anyway. Good Luck Bidding....

Post Sale I will send you an email invoice via ebay. . If you do not hear from me OR if goods are not received- please write me i.e.
I. **COMMUNICATE** While unusual- e-mails don't always go through and snail mail also may be misdirected- please send email me if we lose contact on an item or call. I honor all agreements even if items are sold at a loss. Please feel free to follow up within a reasonable time, as payments or shipping issues may arise. Spam filters esp with AOL often kill my emails so I will try via the ebay contact link or use ebay provided telephone number. That is about all I can do.
II. SHIPPING-
A. Buyer to pay Shipping and Insurance . ALL International and domestic USA items will be insured, I can not be responsible for shipping loss or damage, especially in other countries.
B. Packing- I usually receive praise for careful packing and use foam or styrofoam packing - usually only $1 for materials i.e. tape, foam, padding, peanuts & bubble wrap. Some larger items that require more materials or special crating could cost more to ship.
C. Damage Claims- while rare, must be submitted to the carrier. Please do not try to extort a price reduction or refund based on alleged minor damage, as one buyer did. Small parts on delicate items may come off due to forces in Postal handling and I can not be held responsible for that.
D. Costs- I do not make money on shipping. Shipping weights are estimated and occasionally are higher or lower. If only a dollar or two I will absorb the cost while if more buyer is expected to be honorable and pay the difference. Should shipping charged materially exceed actual cost a refund will be made. Please check USPS.com or UPS.com for rate verification, heavier items ship UPS, my zip code is 21136.
E. FAST SHIPPING- is my goal and I usually ship 3 or more days per week and often receive praise for FAST shipping. But I can not be held responsible for payment delays and/or the Post Office. DO NOT USE FED EX - DECEPTIVELY HIDDEN in ther terms they DO NOT INSURE DAMAGE claims over $100 for collectibles or antiques. Vague and unfair policy-nobody should use them.
III. No refund policy because people often try to return substituted goods or items they broke at my expense and/or re-negotiate a sale based on some questionable damage claim. I really want people to be pleased and 99%++ are pleased, but Buyer remorse or change of mind is not a basis for complaint. Then too, some people are overly picky and are never happy with anything- surely you've met these people, they will drive you crazy. This is an auction not a retail store. It is unreasonable to expect Mint when the ad does not say so. Still, I will make every reasonable attempt to make buyers happy.
IV. Descriptions- I try to write the most accurate and honest product description possible, as I am not out to mislead anyone- many, many photos are provided at all angles. I will mention all material matters and can not reasonably be expected to describe every minor detail, so the buyer is expected to ask questions.
V. Feedback I stand behind my 99% ++ feedback rating with mostly Happy buyers. But you can not please everyone and there are some very unreasonable people out there. One buyer gave me a negative hours after the sale because his email did not go through and he blamed me. Others attempted to extort a price reduction over feedback which will not work. Let's act like adults and keep things positive by only exchanging positives, as otherwise it's a double edged sword and nobody wins.
VI. Warranties- Like live auctions, there are No warranties either express or implied, while goods will be materially as described. All goods sold in "AS IS" condition with No guaranties and No refunds. Damage claims covered by and to the extent of insurance.

VIII Liablility Disclaimer- Sale shall be declared void in any jurisdiction where item is deemed illegal. Minors are not elgible to bid. Buyer expressly agrees to hold seller harmless against any and all liability claims resulting from use or misuse of any items purchased, including but not limited to monetary, physical and/or personal damages.
IX Deadbeats- Seller enforces ebay's deadbeat bidder policy and reserves the right to 1) send ebay non-paying alert and re-sell the item if contact and/or payment is not received within 10 days of the sale and/or resell the item. Bad feedback will also be entered.

X. Payments -Pay Pal only is required per ebay terms and I am bound to compy. Although I do not agree, that is a matter currenty being decided by the Federal Court.
