Londa
Londa's Mission
Statement:
To
offer quality
sewing products
with passion, individual attention, and creative suggestions as a fellow avid
seamstress, teacher and designer.

After 40+ years of 'normal' (what I now call
boring) garment sewing, MY mountain-top sewing experiences consist of artsy,
creative sewing. Precious time stolen away for me...not to save
money, not to just clothe a body, but to CREATE a garment that is
unique and truly, truly One-Of-A-Kind. Tour my wardrobe you can see at this
link:
http://www.londas-sewing.com/wardrobe.htm. My current obsession is
with transforming sweatshirts into wonderful, couture jackets - and at this
time, I've created over 200 different jackets which I sell at area fine art
shows and through my store here at eBay when I can afford to 'lose' them as a
sample for my books at shows....
In 2005, I
published my first book, Creative Sweatshirt Jackets on CD. In 2007, I
published the 2nd book - Vol II Creative Sweatshirt
Jackets - Continuing the Journey
on DVD and Ultimate
Edition: Creative Sweatshirt Jackets
- on DVD: a combination of my first book on CD and Vol. II. I have
begun to travel and teach my creative techniques at sewing shows in the
midwest, and to teach at stores. I love getting to personally meet many
of my customers.
I face the same challenge of many sewers
today: when I'm at the computer...my sewing machine 'calls' to me, and when
I'm at my sewing machine...I find myself running over to the computer!
I LOVE to chat with customers in person, so feel most welcome to call me with
your questions - about ANYTHING sewing! Sew... I've
also started my own BLOG at
