Lori's Tack will no longer sell on eBay after our current round of listings are completed. We are still in business, and you can find us on the web. We have been selling on eBay for many years. We have decided to discontinue offering our great eBay bargains as a result of the many changes eBay has implemented for sellers. Upcoming changes for this fall, which limit buyer options for payment do not fit our business model. Therefore, we will no longer list on eBay.

Lori's Tack is a member of eBay's VERO program. Our website is well known to horse people, and all of it's contents are copywritten. If you wish to use a photo, or text from our website, please request permission prior to doing so. We will usually grant your request, provided that proper credit is given, along with a statement that you are not affiliated with Lori's Tack (www.loristack.com) to avoid customer confusion.

Who am I? I am a stay at home mom of two, who has been around horses since being a young child. I have a 19 year old Quarter Horse, rescued from slaughter as a weanling. Here is my boy before retiring a few years ago due to injury:

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Personal or Cashier's checks and money orders on all auctions. Most auctions also accept paypal. Paypal is not offered on custom auctions, since we cannot adhere to the 7 day shipping rule.

How do you accept Visa/Mastercard if not through paypal?

We have a merchant account that is set up to accept Visa and Mastercard through a secure shopping cart and card terminal. Your information is securely transmitted. The charge will appear on your Credit Card Statement as "Lori's Tack". This should not be confused with a third party payment service, such as paypal, or bidpay. Your information is kept secure, and never shared with others.

How quickly should I expect my item?

We ship via UPS ground every Tuesday and Friday. Your item will ship the very next shipment day after we receive your payment. The only exceptions are payments by check (we may delay shipment until the check clears) or custom items whose shipping times are clearly stated in the auction.

Do you accept returns?

Yes. We have an open return policy for most items. All we ask is that you notify us within 7 days of your receiving the item, for an RA number, and that you return the item to us in the same condition it was sent. Shipping is not refundable under normal circumstances. We do make exceptions, such as for defective items, or a mistake on our part. Custom or closeout items are not returnable unless defective.

Will you ship to an address other than the confirmed address with paypal?

No. As a precaution, we will only ship to the address on the transactions details page if it is confirmed AND the transaction is Seller Protection Policy eligible.

Should I be concerned if I see negative feedback?

Most sellers, and buyers will have a non positive experience from time to time. This is true both on eBay and in face to face retail situations. I try my best to satisfy all customers, but have learned over the years that it is not always possible. It is best to look at both sides, see feedback histories of both parties (both left AND received) and make a decision on your own. Luckily, most of my experiences are positive, which is why I continue to do what I do!
