That's me

Greetings all!
My dream for many years has been to operate a business selling "found" items. Found in my wonderings at yard sales, estate sales, or, once in a great while, auctions. I love the idea of "the hunt", coupled with the knowledge that I'm helping someone by purchasing things they can no longer use, or need.
Since, I have a real heart for the recyle concept, that fits right in with my philosophy... to me this is the BEST in recycling!
The kind of things I put up for auction vary greatly, but because I love VINTAGE things, pieces with a history, and personality, the majority of my auctions fall into that catogory. Oh how I wish they could talk, what stories they could tell!
Along with Vintage items, I hunt for items with quality, class, unique personality and good collectables. Along with these I will also make available some items from our household, things we no longer use, or need.
My creed, in the hunt, is to keep an eye out for wonderful articles I KNOW someone else would LOVE to have. Things I can feel proud to pass on to others, by way of my listings.
Sort of like a personal shopper! These are the things I strive to provide, for you the seeking shopper.
JUST A LITTLE PERSONAL HISTORY:
I've lived in Southern Oregon AKA the beautiful Rogue Valley, since 1974. Grew up on a 21 acre farm in Washington State, along the mighty Columbia river and went to a 2 room school house til I graduated, in the 8th grade, with 4 kids. (Always grin when I tell that part.) My senior year graduation class, in the town of Longview, was 300 strong. Talk about culture shock!
I have been haunting yard & estate sales for over 25 years. I find it to be fun, entertaining and educational. I never know what I'll find, or who I'll meet. I've had folks invite me to see their homes & yards, share gardening tips, and family stories, often in regard to the things they are selling.
The only pets we have are some fine looking Koi, living in our backyard pond. This is a non-smoking home too, as I know many like to purchase from that environment.
I hope you will wander through my offerings, find something you like, and tell your friends.
Enjoy the hunt!
