So who is LouCoins anyway?

Welcome to my Ebay listings!

 No, my name is not Lou. My name is Charlie. LouCoins, my Ebay name, was derived from the fact that I live in Louisville and I collect coins (hence; LouCoins). Many of the items I list are US coins and numismatic related items. One of my favorite categories on Ebay is the US Error Coins. I scan these listings daily and am urged to bid on quite a few of them. I have been collecting, buying, selling and trading coins since 1967 (over 30 years now!) I like to think I am pretty knowledgable regarding coins, especially the error coins. I have a pretty decent numismatic library and spend alot of time perusing over the pages of my references quite often. I often promote coin collecting at every opportunity. I love to answer questions about how error coins are produced and am always willing to help out the new collector. Thanks for looking over the items I have listed. Please feel free to email me. Where Do I obtain the items I list?

 Most of the items I list here on Ebay come from my own holdings that I have been able to accumulate over the past 30 years, others are listed for friends, relatives and through Ebay's Trading Assistant program clients. I Also attend most of the local coin shows, yard sales and flea markets on a pretty regular basis. I think most of the coin dealers around Louisville, KY know me as "that error nut". I am always on the lookout for coins, error coins, numismatic related items or most anything I think will enhance the hobby of numismatics. I have sold such items as magnifiers, microscopes, digital scales, books etc.

Other items are obtained and listed by me that may come from friends, relatives and the occasional entrepreneur that wants to test market a new product. I will list it if I think it will sell and do someone some good in some way. If you have items that you may want me to list for you then simply email me and we will discuss it.
