Little Luxuries is owned by Ami Pagana and Elizabeth Jones, a mother/daughter team who had a dream of starting a business together. Ami has a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, worked 15 years as a nurse and nurse manager, 8 as a Navy nurse. She obtained an MSBA degree at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA and taught business there for 6 years and was a consultant for the Small Business Development Center. Elizabeth, her daughter, spent 2 years as a photography student at the Art Institute of Seattle then transferred to Bucknell University where she obtained a BA degree in Sociology and Pre-law in 2006. Both were in transition phases of their lives and decided to start a small gift business at a local mall with mixed results. They had a great idea but high overhead and no experience finding good wholesalers, etc. They decided to combine their love of travel and shopping to buy merchandise in NYC, Hawaii and used ebay a great deal as buyers to find wholesalers throughout Asia.

Ami became an ebay user in 1999 and loves cats, thus her nickname loveacat99. Her first 2-3 years were as a buyer with wonderful experience seeking out great bargains and bought the items she had only dreamed about owning, such as vintage Chanel handbags, designer shoes at a fraction of retail cost, etc. As she set about finding treasures around her home, she gradually became a seller, one or 2 pieces at a time with also good results. After Christmas season 2007 at the local mall with rent prices that would have kept most people from ever even trying,they decided to put their efforts into ebay and see if they couldn't at least pay off initital debt:-) Ami and Beth's goal is to someday even make a living at it.
