Welcome to Nespolo Designs where you can find original art, posters, photos, note cards and so much more. Let me introduce you to our artists:

I am Nancy, the matriach of the Nespolo family of artists. I have been creating various crafts for over 40 years, from family trees, macrame items, fabric wall hangings, decorated brooms and wreaths etc in 2 successful businesses I had back in RI. Since moving to FL for semi-retirement, I am now involved in East Coast Custom Designs, our other eBay company, which creates, mugs, mouse pads, ceramic tiles, metal photos, from our photos and designs and personalized items from the photos of our customers. Photography has come to me later in life, but I have taken over 5000 photos in just 2.5 years. It has definitely become my passion. So now I am starting this new eBay store which will feature the art of my talented female family members. I hope you love our store and come back and visit very often, as we constantly add new items.

Say hi to Deb, my eldest daughter who was involved with me in my store in RI and recently had a successful advertising business here in FL creating various post cards and advertisements from photos she took of the properties that were for sale by real estate agents who were selling homes for their customers. She has since moved back to RI so that her daughter Alyssa mentioned below, could attend her alma mater high school, which is renowed for the best art department in the state. Deb is now involved in her husbands painting business, but continues to take scenic photographs and wants to share them all with you on our note cards.

I am very proud to bring to our collection of original artwork, the fantastic drawings of my very own granddaughter, Melissa Nespolo. She is a 3rd year student at SCAD, in Savannah GA and is majoring in Animation and minoring in Storyboarding and Sequential Art (Comic Books). She and many of her fellow students have been avid Anime and FanArt lovers all their lives, so it seemed very natural for her to lend her artistic talent to her version of the characters that so many of you have grown to love and must have in your collection. We have coaxed her into letting us share them with you and it is our pleasure to be able to bring them to you in this fantastic 11X17 poster. Missy, as she is lovingly called by all of our family, also sells her artwork at Anime FanArt Conventions, which includes posters, stickers and pins. Melissa's drawings are filled with brilliant colors and every drawing has superior detail and her imagination in bringing these characters to life speaks for itself. We know you will love them as much as we do. This summer Missy has been doing an intership for a company located close to Boston, MA which does animation for PBS TV on the program called Word Girl. By September when her intership is completed, she will have contributed some of the animation for this popular educational program. She is the daughter of my youngest son, Michael.

Hey, all, I’m Alyssa Culver. I’m seventeen, and a junior in high school. I specialize in reading, writing and photography. Well, I’m not quite sure you can specialize in reading, but if I could I would. If I could read all day every day, I would be happy. I started writing several years ago, and started several long stories but never finished any of them. Right now I’m working on a novel. Thirteen chapters so far and I will finish this one! I have been taking formal art classes since I was nine, but have been drawing since I could hold the crayons. I’ve learned to draw, paint, make movies, make ceramics, and take pictures. Surprisingly, photography stuck. I take my camera everywhere, because my artist-brain is always on. In college I want to pursue creative writing and photography. I would like to attend a small college in New Hampshire that offers both of these majors. I already have a portfolio in the works, and so far, it has gotten a very good response from various colleges. After college, I would love to be a writer, but I guess maybe I already am. I have included photography from Alyssa in our website, because I find it very unique, and feel she has a talent for seeing the beauty in things that others just don't see.
