I have been a seamstress for over 30 years. My oldest daughter is 37 years old. I use to love making her dresses. I sewed each week just to create for her. Then two years later we were blessed with another girl. Now I had two to create fashions for. I would sew the first of the week to have matching dresses for Wednesday prayer meeting and the Thursday and Friday for matching dresses for Sunday. Way to soon, my girls "outgrew" ruffles and lace. But, eight years later we adopted another girl. Once again I could start having fun with the ruffle and lace.

Now that they are all grown and have homes of there own, I have the pleasure dressing and spoiling other people's little girls. I have one rotten, but, precious grandson, that I would not take a million dollars for, but, I still long for that little grandaughter some day. And do I ever enjoy what I do! Sewing and creating is my love! I have the joy seeing some of "my" little princesses in my dresses and some I never meet. But, when I see a little girl in one of my dresses and she looks at me with the precious smile...this is my reward for my work I have done. As I say "I put love in every stitch."
