My name is Lowell Carhart. In 2001 I quit my job as a corporate consultant and said goodbye to the MBA fast track in order to pursue my true passion -- fossils. Eons Ago Company was brought into existence and we quickly became the leading dealer of fossil dinosaur eggs in the USA and Europe, and just this year we became the largest dealer of Madagascar ammonites as well. Although my salary isn as high as it once was, at least I am doing what I love to do. My never-ending quest for fresh and interesting material has taken me to China, Madagascar, Cambodia, South Africa and other far away locations. I strive to bring the best possible value to my customers, which is why we've grown so quickly. But the only way any seller can consistently do this is to acquire large amounts of material and sell quickly for a low mark-up. This is why most of my customers are other fossil dealers.

My business is unique because my wife is an active duty officer in the USAF, and so we are constantly on the move wherever the USAF stations her. So I have all new acquisitions shipped to my warehouse in New Jersey from where they are then listed on eBay and subsequently mailed to the new owners. However, I also sell at the world largest fossils shows (Tucson, Munich, St. Marie, Hamburg, Tokyo, Springfield, etc.) where I can maintain the close customer contact that I enjoy.
