Back to previous page  Letty's Story I have spent most of my life in the field of education. As a licensed teacher I have taught literature, developmental reading, and remedial reading. After ten years in the public school system, I homeschooled for almost 20 years. After my kids grew up and left home I returned to part time work in the public school system. Then in August of 2006 I had surgery to corrent an instability of my cervical spine. That means I had broken my neck at the first two vertebra and had been walking around with a broken neck for 30 years. I had a fusion which means I can no longer turn my head from left to right. A metal plate helps keep my vertebra from pinching my spinal cord. Since I will likely never return to employment outsidse the home, I am returning to Ebay.
