Most people who decide to sell on Ebay begin with a plan...what they want to sell, where they will get the merchandise, how much they want to make each month. For us it all began while packing to move to a larger apartment, just months after Luke got his train table. We came across two calculators that I used while earning my BSBA from the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!) and we decided to sell them on Ebay. With the $100 we got the natural choice was to buy Luke some trains. Wait a minute...if I SOLD Thomas trains then I could give Luke whatever he wanted whenever he wanted them AND I would make money. How perfect is that??
What began as extra way to gain money and spoil Luke even more, has turned into so much more. I love meeting new people all over the world. Almost everyone I have met on Ebay has been nice (which more than over compensates for the occasional person that doesn’t pay or gives you an unjustified negative feedback). Some of them I talk to more than just the one transaction; some have become my friends. These are people who are older than me, people with children Luke’s age, people that travel a lot, people that are in the military (God bless our true heroes!), people from other countries…all of them people I would never meet if it weren’t for them buying from me on Ebay!
