Lura's Rainbow:  I am an artist.!!! 

I carve walking sticks and some wood working;

 I do greeting cards. 

 I paint and draw pictures ... ( landscapes, portraits, animals, people and abstracts ). 

I usually use my own mix media or I do pencils, pastels, chalk, pen, acrilic, and spray paint / airbrush...( I don't usually work with oil. ( I have pets..ha! ha! ).

 If you have a couple of pictures of someone, send me a copy and I will do a portrait, or if you have several pictures,such as your house, or garden, your car, your sweety or pet....just ask it might be possible to combine some things to make one picture ... for yourself or for someone special. 

  I design buisness cards, logos, or just about anything imaginable.

I have been known to build specialized coffee tables,

scrapbooks / scrapbook pages.

 I play with photography.

                           I make:                          

 key chains,  dream catchers,  pillows,  bandanas, painted tee shirts, and stepping stones

And, I collect a lot of stuff.

Hello !!!! And Welcome !!!!

Welcome to my world / my rainbow !

I am new at this...and if it seems as if there isn't much to see. ... Yet! ... Please be patient... I intend to grow.  I hope you return from time to time just to see what is new.

 I am 44 yrs of age. I love my sweety, my mom and my pets: (a dog and a cat(they are both spioled rotten) and my mom's dog.  (I think we should change her name, to shut-up.).I live in Missouri. I have an Associates Degree in Art and buisness,. I am looking into going back to school possibly. I am interested in Medical billing and coding and computers and Art. I need to change careers due to health problems.( I need to have my 4th knee surgery, working toward having both knees replaced.).

 We are tring to sell my mothers house in Arkansas.  I recently moved my mother in my house with me because of her recent health and prior handicap problems. She is in a wheel chair; and a lot of the time so am I or on cruches. And, not to many people will hire someone / me, when they find out you need to have knee surgery. So, Since I am an artist at heart and always have been, I thought I would put my talent to work.

I am into: wizards and dragons; trolles and castles (mystical things); rainbows and bears. 

I am into western/country, native american, some abstract and modern styles.

I really enjoy gardening, which I can no longer do much of.

I enjoy watching movies, playing on my computer and painting (being creative).

I enjoy working on my house!
