Thanks for stopping by to hear a bit about me. I am a registered nurse with a specialty in post surgical cardiac care. If you've had heart surgery, I know what you've been through. I hope you're out there walking! I've also cared for people who have had lung or partial lung removals. I hope you've stopped smoking! 		 

 
why "TURTLES NOT MIGRAINES"
In 1999, I was diagnosed with Basilar Artery Migraine. This is a rare migraine that affects less than 200,000 people in the US. It can cause stroke (I had 2 when I was 36) and leaves us with stroke like symptoms: difficulty speaking, walking, confusion, and difficulty reasoning. That's why ebay is nice. I can play turtles when I'm able, and shut the computer off for days when I can't say my name. Therefore, I'd much rather play TURTLES, NOT MIGRAINES. A few years before I was diagnosed, when times were tough, I dreamed that a huge turtle came out of the sea and talked to me. It was beautiful and peaceful, and I knew that everything would be ok. From that point on I started collecting turtles. After my migraines forced my on to disability, I was searching ebay for more turtles to add to my collection, when it struck me..."I can do this, I can sell turtles on good days and feel like a real human being with SOME ability again!" So here I am. Thanks to my turtle- again coming to my rescue! I also believe that I'm here to help other people deal with their migraines. It's a difficult world. You only completely understand if you've been there. I'VE BEEN THERE! PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO WRITE TO ME IF YOU NEED A FRIEND! I love it when people write to me. People have helped me a lot too! The National Headache foundation has tons of information on their website! If you have info. you'd like me to pass on, by all means send it! People helping people...that's what it's all about!
