   Ebay is an auction site, not a retail store.  There are some risks to the buyer, but there are also great rewards.  That is what an auction is all about.  However, we reduce a large part of the risk to our buyers by offering a 7 day DOA warranty on most of our auctions.  We take the risk for you.  You get auction prices AND a warranty.  We do not get that option from the auctions we purchase from.  We pay for the items and they are ours good or bad.  Most of the merchandise we purchase is of excellent quality, and of course we never knowingly pass bad merchandise on to ebay buyers.  If we think something is not of good quality, we either dispose of it responsibly, or if it is something that we think may have value, then we will place it in an As-Is auction at a greatly reduced price.  Some people are able to salvage parts, or make things work.  We have heard on several occasions from people that something they purchased works fine when the right driver is used for instance, when someone else said the item was bad.  There is definite value there for someone, but we do not attempt to fix things ourselves.  It is just not what we do.  Instead, we are able to keep our prices low by purchasing items at a good price and selling them at a good price, leaving the technical part to the buyer.
