Hi, Lynda, the Lynda of Lyndaslyfestyles, is the Garage Sale Gal. But how did she get there!?
Lynda graduated from Ohio State University with a broadcast journalism degree. But she never, ever went to a garage sale. She worked as an anchor, reporter and producer (produced my own newscasts) in 6 different markets around the nation including Duluth, Minnesota (her first TV job) and Wichita, Kansas. Still, no garage sales. When she and her husband, Kevin Nunn, moved to Phoenix she worked at the ABC affiliate for 3 short months (filling for someone on maternity leave). Lynda realized it just wasn't fun anymore. No garages yet, for this gal. Then talks regarding Lynda hosting a craft segment began with management at 3-TV, KTVK, the number one station in Phoenix. "I've never done crafts on the air so my initial thought was 'I don't think so'", Lynda says. Lynda had also just launched a new website: www.GarageSaleGal. com where people across the nation can list and browse for events FREE of charge. Lynda realized what a wonderful forum Channel 3 would give be for her comprehensive website. So, now, Lynda is THE Garage Sale Gal on Channel 3 giving tips, making crafts and fixing up items she finds at garage sales, estate sales and auctions. I'm having a blast!

Where does ebay come in?
The Garage Sale Gal also loves to shop and we have some awesome stores here in Phoenix. So, Lynda buys items, mostly at Nordstrom and estate sales and puts them up for bids on ebay. As for Garage Sales, Lynda visits those each weekend in the Valley, buys items for $1 or $2 and sells them for charity or hosts her own sale.
The Garage Sale Gal on 3-TV is a whole lot different than anchoring a show but it's FUN.
