Most of us have had FABULOUS and HORRIBLE and SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN experiences ... with Sellers and Buyers. I understand that there are PEOPLE ... Sellers and Buyers ... who don't belong on eBay or need to be sanctioned until they improve. eBay is now attempting to better your buying experience but hasn't taken the time to explain the new policies or what constitutes a great seller from a mediocre or bad seller. I hope you will take the time to digest all this material and UNDERSTAND that my business depends on YOUR feedback ratings. I am so sure of my products and service that I leave feedback IMMEDIATELY after your purchase! You paid for your item, you deserve your HONEST feedback. I also deserve HONEST feedback. PLEASE understand that FEEDBACK IS VOLUNTARY. I will not ask for feedback and you do not have to leave any. I would rather have NO feedback than anything less than 5 stars because I consider anything less than 5 stars as negative feedback.

You can leave detailed seller ratings on the Leave Feedback page after you leave your overall rating (positive, neutral or negative).
If you choose to leave detailed seller ratings, you must leave them at the same time you leave your overall Feedback rating and comment. When you’re rating the seller, please keep the following in mind:

Be honest. Objective ratings help sellers improve performance and help future buyers accurately evaluate sellers.

Review the item title and description before rating the seller on the item as described.

Consider only business days when evaluating communication. Sellers don’t always check email on weekends and holidays.

When rating sellers on shipping time, rate the seller on the time it took them to mail the item, not the time it took you to receive the item. You shouldn’t hold sellers responsible for delays in mail services, international custom delays or for the time it took for your payment to clear.

When rating the seller on shipping and handling charges, remember that sellers may charge actual packaging materials costs and a reasonable handling fee to cover the seller’s time and direct costs associated with shipping. For international transactions, you may also be responsible for duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees as requested by country laws.
SHIPPING EVALUATION is probably the most MISUNDERSTOOD of all the new eBay policies.
Sellers can only choose to ship (get your package to the post office) lightening fast, quickly, slowly, very slowly or turtles move faster!!!!! So, please be fair to your sellers and do not rate them on delivery time to your door. Sellers have no control over delivery time unless they bring you your stuff!!!! :)

Below is an explanation to guide you if you have never left feedback or wish to become better informed on how to leave HONEST FEEDBACK! YOUR feedback ratings will effect a seller's business in a positive or negative way! This is a guide only!
EBay tells Buyers that 4 stars, out of the maximum 5, is wonderful. eBay tells Sellers that 4 stars are terrible! eBay even "reminds" Buyers that since the stars are anonymous, YOU can be HONEST. That is always your right, but you should have ALL the information that eBay is not giving to you!
ITEM AS DESCRIBED: Did you receive the item you expected? Were there plenty of pictures? Were all the flaws stated in the auction? Did the Seller put everything you wanted to know in the description? If not, did you ASK the Seller for more information before you bid and did you receive a prompt answer? If you can answer YES to those questions, your Seller deserves 5 stars.
COMMUNICATION: If you asked the Seller a question, did you receive a prompt answer? Did the Seller contact you quickly (and personally) after the auction ended? Did you feel that the Seller cared about YOU? If there was a problem, do you feel the Seller made every attempt to rectify the problem? If you can answer YES to those questions, your Seller deserves 5 stars.
SHIPPING TIME: The US Postal Service does NOT guarantee delivery time……YOU are rating a seller on how fast they SHIP the item out to you, not DELIVERY TIME! Do not rate a seller on DELIVERY TIME to you! Did the Seller state how quickly your item would ship after receiving cleared payment? Did the Seller ship the item in the stated time? Do you understand that the Seller has NO control over DELIVERY Time after the item has been shipped? If you can answer YES to those questions, your Seller deserves 5 stars.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES: Did the Seller clearly state the cost of shipping and any handling fees that might be included? Was the stated cost the actual cost you were charged? Do you understand that there are some items which require extra packaging materials? Do you understand that eBay allows a Seller to charge a handling fee in those instances? Do you understand that the Seller has NO control over what they are charged by USPS or any other carrier? (FYI ... USPS rates were raised again on May 12th!) Did you email the seller to ask if they could give you a better price on shipping? Were you given a refund of overage if you PAID too much for shipping? If you can answer YES to those questions, your Seller deserves 5 stars.
