Gee, I'm flattered!
Welcome to the Wonderful World of MacJazz. I'm impressed that you cared enough to come see who I am! Actually, I'm an old, fat Ph.D. recently retired to St. Augustine, Fl. who has collected records for 50 years. I've got a little over 10,000 LP's so now I'm moving some out, before the house falls down. Stay tuned because I put up new items all the time!

Grading Records
Everyone has their own concept of what different record grades mean. I go at this two different ways to try and be as legit as possible. First: Near Mint means I can't tell the album has been played. No signs of it at all. Excellent means I can't be sure that if the album has been played, but not
much sign of it at all. No scuffs, mars, scratches or anything else.VG+++ means yes it has been played. There might be some scuffs but nothing that looks like it will affect the playing in any way. VG++ means played and has some scuffs/mars etc. that don't look like problems, but are there. VG+ is played with scuffs
Good is "O.K. buy it if you want it but look to replace it soon."

If you buy an album and are not satisfied with my grading, I will buy it back, and pay shipping both ways. I will retain the $1 that I charge for handling. I will also ask you for a written statement that you have not duplicated the album in any way. That is as fair as I think I can be.

I'm full time retired now. My job was as a state administrator with a program that put computers and wiring into every school in Ohio. I was also a high school band director "in a previous incarnation," then got a Ph. D. in Education of the gifted. Now I'm on the beach! Lots of fun!
