Welcome to our little corner of the Southwest!
A LITTLE PERSONAL INFO ABOUT US
We call beautiful Taos, New Mexico, our home. It's a small town north of Santa Fe
in the southern Rocky Mountains. "We" consists of basically me
(Christine, college student/mom), my grown packrat-gold-prospector/rock-hound son, and my 13-year old chess champ and
hockey-playing son. I homeschool my 13-year old, so we are able to do quite a bit of
traveling and exploring around the Southwest.
Because we homeschool, we do offer (usually on eBay) books and items from time to time that we
no longer need or use.
What we're doing right now...
We're in the fast-paced season of hockey again, and I'm finding myself just
plain ol' worn out! This year, I have to include a job in my schedule, and
if anyone else has ever had a kid passionate about hockey, you'll know that
there just isn't time for a job! ...let alone me try to take classes at
college! Our first chess tournament is coming up, too, taking away from
any hope of me having any days to just clean the house! Our chickens are
laying enough eggs for the neighborhood now, and my winter garden inside the
house is supplying all our salad needs once again. Winter is off to a good
start!
About what we sell...
We do have a web site by the same name where you can see all that we
sell. Easy to find...
Southwest items are not all that we offer. We are also pack rats, artists,
homeschoolers and rock hounds. So from time to time we do offer items that
are not "exactly" Southwest, but you can be sure they CAME from the Southwest!
I do have a blog... but don't keep it up very well. It has to do
with our progress in homeschooling (or my rants!), hockey, chess, latest finds,
and sometimes the latest projects. If you're interested,
