I put this information here because I think in a marketplace (physical or virtual) people have the right to know who they are dealing with.

I am a 45 years old male who was born in the District of Porto (Oporto) in Portugal. In Porto I grew, studied and graduated. More than a decade ago I willingly chose to marry and live in the beautiful island of Madeira in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean where I work today as an Orthopaedic Surgeon enjoying life and raising three (still) small children (two girls and a boy).

My main fields of interest:

I spend a lot of my spare time reading and working with computers.
Besides a lot of subjects I'm interested in pre-medieval history (mainly maritime and militar), martial arts (mainly weapons), fantasy role playing (sword & sorcery types), photography and computers.
