Just the basics Hi there. This is just a placeholder page for me here on Ebay. I don't sell a lot of stuff, but I buy now and then. My promise to you is that I will send payment fast, and leave feedback promptly upon receipt of the item I've ordered. On the rare occasions that I sell an item, I will package it carefully and ship promptly and leave positive feedback for you if you send payment promptly. I only ask that you do the same for me. Thanks, -- Dave Just for the record... So far, I have a 99% positive record. It was 100% until recently. Here's what happened: I bought an antique photo from the particular seller in question and sent payment in cash. The amount of cash was $6.00 so it wasn a big risk. Weeks later, I heard nothing from the seller. I emailed the seller and asked if she had received my payment. She replied that she had received it and had lost my order under a pile of items in her household. She apologized and promised to mail it promptly. I replied with t okay, things like that happen, just please make sure you package the item well./em> (Photos can be easily bent by the Post Office.) A week or so later, I received the photo in-between two very very thin pieces of very bendable cardboard. The kind you find on the back of a small notepad, not the corrugated type of cardboard that is stiffened and hard to bend. I replied that I was disappointed with her for forgetting my order and then using packaging that wasn sufficient for the job and that she should try harder in the future. But I told her that I wasn going to embarrass her with negative feedback since only the package got damaged, but luckily the photo didn. I just wasn going to leave ANY feedback for her and let it go at that. After she replied with offers of refunds, (which wasn asked for or needed) and ignoring my specific point that she needed to package her products better in the future she decided to leave ME negative feedback calling me angry. Well, wouldn you have been angry if someone LOST your package, shipped it LATE then wrapped it so that it could be damaged then completely ignored the point of your emails regarding the poor packaging? So despite my best efforts to keep her poor service an issue between us, she has decided to leave negative feedback for me ... thus I had to reply. And thus you are now privy to all the sorted details here. But as you can see from the REST of the entire eBay family Ie interacted with thus far, NO ONE ELSE has been disappointed with my service or timely payments. I guess you are bound to run into some difficult people from time to time. I just had my first experience. |
