Welcome to My About Me Page!!!! Thank you for browsing & bidding (I hope!!) my Ebay auctions. Let me tell you a little about who you are buying from... My name is Karen and I am a wife and mother of a 4 yr. old little girl and a toddler son. She is the ever changing look of my Ebay Logo. Her name is Kendal Rose and she is just the best little munchkin in all the land. My chubbie monkey is Trey and he is the biggest Mama's boy in the WORLD!!! I began selling on Ebay about 7 years ago to make a little extra cash and clean out some jewelry that was building up. I was living with my parents at the time - waiting patiently for the closing on my house. It was also a way to spend some spare time (because I had it back then!!!) NO KIDS, NO PETS, NO HUSBAND, NO HOUSE! Boy oh boy...I didn't realize that I would one day have no free time. But I am sure all you mothers out there already know this quite well; forgive me...I am new to the team. But I love it and wouldn't change a thing. So once I moved into my new house in August of 2001...life went from sedate and calm to crazy in about 4 months. Started dating my now husband, Richard, in November 2001 - engaged in March 2003, married August 30, 2003...PREGNANT ON SEPT. 3, 2003 (give or take a couple of days..) YEP..You read it right. I got pregnant on my honeymoon! So between being very newly married and adjusting to that enormous life change, I had to deal with the "joys" of the 1st trimester. But that ended soon enough and the rest of the year moved along and arriving on June 8, 2004 (8 days late!!! and with a lot of Pitocin and some darn good pushing) my daughter arrived into the world. The best day of our lives. And it just keeps getting better and better every day with her. So when she was about 6 months old - I remembered all the fun I had buying and selling on Ebay years ago and decided to peruse the site to see what had happened here since I last visited in 2001. WOW!!! Things had really improved. I loved it. So I soon began listing and selling and (of course) buying. I list my own items, my husbands, my moms, my relatives and friends and things that I pick up while I am out shopping around. I have no specific specialty and do not claim to be an expert at anything I list. I just will always be as HONEST and THOROUGH in all explanations of items. I have just recently moved from Long Island, NY to Taylors, SC and I am LOVING IT!!! The weather, the people and the environment. I have became a Stay at Home Mommy back in 2006 and am now an official Working at home Mom...bringing in a full time income from all my online sales. So I thank you for bidding and buying or even just browsing and thank you for taking the time to learn about me and my family and my history with Ebay. An explanation to all of you who have asked how I got my USER ID NAME. My mom's family is Italian and when I was little it was a nickname that my grandparents gave me. I believe it is a name of a song that was popular years ago in Italian family households. Although that is my User Id name...don't let it fool you...I love to cook - but Lasagna is not my favorite dish to cook or eat. Sorry..I am a burger gal!
