Made_Maka has had art education at the college level, but states that she has learned more from experimenting in the exciting, new world of altered art, mail art, Artist Trading Cards (ATCs), Art Cards, Editions, and Originals (ACEOs), collage and mixed media.  Made_Maka says, "Art truly saved my life.  I hope that each piece I create will find a home where it brings the same excitement I experienced making it.  Whether I was amused, creative, moody, fighting back, rebellious, sexy, inspired - you name it - I would like my art to express those feelings and to help you feel them too."

Made_Maka has exhibited her work locally in Minnesota and California and is represented in several private collections, as well as in the International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction in Cuernavaca, Mexico; ArtColle in Sergines, France; and the Museo de Collage in Mexico City. She has also exhibited at the New Plymouth Gallery in New Plymouth, New Zealand and Durango Arts Center in Durango, Colorado.
