Specializing in Custom handmade leather martingales.
Mad Fox Designs started out doing "a little bit of everything." Artwork, sewing, metalwork, leatherwork, making armor in both leather and metal, even making fully feathered, semi-jointed falcons and falconry gear for re-enactors! Over the course of 2005, Mad Fox Designs has settled in to specializing in collars for greyhounds, whippets, Italian greyhounds, and other sight hounds and similar sized breeds. Why this change? My boys! I adopted 2 retired racing greyhounds in '05 - Frankie and Dandy. So now I'm putting my years of experience sewing and doing leatherwork in to every collar I make. Though I am still making other items, my primary focus is the making of quality leather and fabric martingale collars - collars that you can feel safe using, proud to show off, and your hound(s) will be comfortable wearing!
