Simplifying My Life Simplifying my life and a wish to downsize were my original motivations for beginning to sell on EBay. I had enough "stuff" to keep me going for a few years. By 2008, I was pretty well cleared out, but I was having so much fun I didn't want to stop. So I started going back to garage sales, estate sales, and thrift shops - just to find things to sell. So, here I am, selling more than ever. Waterloo County is a great place to live - we have a number of Mennonite thrift shops, oodles of garage sales, and several estate auctions a week. Plus, I can't stay away from charity shops when travelling. Last September, we went hiking in France, so I was on the look-out for Vide Greniers - which means "clearing the attic". All of those great finds have sold, but I'm always listing "new" vintage items from Waterloo County. January means Canada Post has (as per usual!) raised their rates - so mine have gone up a little too. But be assured I never charge extra for packing or time - only what the Post Office charges me.
