Simplifying My Life Simplifying my life and a wish to downsize were my original motivations for beginning to sell on EBay. I had enough "stuff" to keep me going for a few years. By 2008, I was pretty well cleared out, but I was having so much fun I didn't want to stop. So I started going back to garage sales, estate sales, and thrift shops - just to find things to sell. So, here I am, selling more than ever. Waterloo County is a great place to live - we have a number of Mennonite thrift shops, oodles of garage sales, and several estate auctions a week. Plus, I can't stay away from charity shops when travelling. This September, we went hiking in France, so I was on the look-out for Vide Greniers - which means "clearing the attic". Most of those great finds have sold already, but I'm busy listing for the festive season now - lots of good vintage finds from Waterloo County.
