In case your wondering I really am not Mad.  I am crazy Mad about vintage clothing and have been ever since I played dressup in my Grandma's closet.  She was a gorgeous woman and had the most beautiful clothes.  She owned a nightclub with my Grandfather and was dressed to kill any time she was in the public's eye.  Her and I watched old movies every Saturday and she started my fetish of vintage beaded purses.  I have been hooked ever since.   Thanks Elsie LaRue!  You're My inspiration I love you!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE MADHOUSEWIFE

I really am a housewife!  A mother of 3 and the queen of my castle & life really gets hectic at times.  Regardless of my domestic duties I have always been a free spirit and a little different.  My choice of fahsion was often the discussion at the family table and not always "approved".  I lived in South Beach and found myself finally at home!  I could be me and it was "accepted".  I haven't changed and now Sophie LaRue my daughter of 5 has fallen right into my footsteps.  She is my pixie and a free fashion spirit!  We shop till we drop and if it doesnt fit us we share it with you!
