A little about MADIE B CREATIONS and it's creator, Judy!

Being the mom of 4 boys, I finally have the opportunity to spoil the granddaughers that they have given my husband  (Roy) and myself.  The name the Madie B's  was derived from the girls.  I had always wanted to do a line of children's clothing with the name of my granddaughter, Coleby Mae as I loved the sound of the name and before it got off the ground along came Madie.  Well Madie had a difficult time pronouncing Coleby and calls her "B" therefore the name of Madie B's Creations.

I have been sewing for many years.  Mostly for the boys when they were younger doing elaborate costumes for kindergarten and class plays.  I have done some sewing for myself and my mom, before she passed away and have ocassionally done a robe or jumpsuit for my husband.  I used sewing and a Stretch and Sew class to help me get over the death of my mom several years ago.  I really enjoyed the class and discovered so many easy ways of doing things.

I went from sewing home projects and for the family to doing craft shows locally in and around San Antonio.  I was doing a show every weekend for about 7 years and thoroughly enjoyed each one.  I enjoy being able to incorporate my ideas into something unique and useful and watching what I saw in my mind's eye develop into the final product.

You may have visited with me in one of the San Antonio Malls or possibly at the Goliad,Tx. market days or  maybe even at the market Days in Kerrville, Tx.  I  have also done shows in Giddings, Corpus, La Grange, Ledbetter, Belton, Pleasanton, Austin, Manor, Bellsville and several other places in this area of Texas.

I thank Polly for the pics of the twins.  She was wanting Christmas outfits for the girls using the same theme but not to be identical.  I had enough of the Raddegy Ann fabrics to work for these outfits and they could be worn for other occassions than just Christmas. Here are pics sent of  Brea's children wearing the Spiderman outfits I made for her children.    Then here is Lovely Nevada.  She models many of my dresses for her mom, who helps me do my listings.   She is so cute but may not always be in the best mood for the camera.  But she tries.  (these dresses are available now!)
