One of my first Vintage Christmas Aprons

I started selling on E Bay a couple of year's ago. At first I was selling a little bit of everything, just trying to downsize my own collectibles. One day I was cleaning out my linen closet and found several sets of vintage embroidered pillowcases that I had not used in a long time and decided to list them on auction. Then I went in search of more linens, which I promptly found but not in ready to sell condition. I began restoring them to bring them back as close to their original condition as I could. Boy, I had surely forgotten how much work goes into it, spot treating, soaking, re-soaking, hanging in the sunshine, ironing, and if a spot jumps out at you, back to square one. But the final product is always one I am proud of. When I purchased my first batch of vintage aprons and found the Christmas ones, I could not help but fall in love. As I handled each and every apron through the restoring process I would imagine what stories they could tell. To this day, aprons, especially the Santa Clause aprons are my favorite of the vintage linens.

Stop by and visit me when you can, I am always adding listings and many of them are vintage lover's everyday usable items. I use my pillowcases, aprons, chenille spreads, pot holders, doilies, runners, etc, all the time. You need to enjoy them and allow family and friends to enjoy them also.
