Store FAQ
How can I save money on shipping? There are two ways:
- Pay more than one deck at the same time.
- If you buy a deck and you don't need the land, you can save 50 cents.
You can email me before you pay for the item when you want to save money on shipping to make sure that you save the appropriate amount on shipping.
How much is shipping? Shipping is $3.99 in the USA and $16.99 outside the USA for 60 card decks. Other items have other shipping charges.
How much is insurance? Insurance can only be calculated when the auction ends. It costs about $1.75 to insure an item worth $50 or under in the USA. Insurance is not always available outside the USA.
How long should I wait to get my item? I usually ship using first class mail with USPS. I mail items within 4 days and it usually takes the USPS 3-7 days to deliver the item, so you should wait 11 days to get the item. If you need the item sooner, you can request to ship using priority mail or express mail before paying for the item. This option will often cost more money.
How much is sales Tax? If you are in California, you have to pay 9.25% sales tax. Otherwise you don't pay any sales tax.
Why can't I bid? People in Italy can't buy magic decks because Italian Customs have banned "playing cards." Other European countries have also been blocked in order to prevent people from Italy to buy the items. If you are from Europe and want to bid on my items, you can ask for permission by emailing me.
What do I do if there is a problem with the item? You should email me and I will be happy to offer a solution. If the item is not as described, I will let you send it back for a full refund. Other problems will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
How do I get a refund? Let me know about the problem. If you didn't receive what you paid for, send the item back for a full refund. If the item is damaged and you paid for insurance, you should be able to get your money back from the post office. Email me about any other issues and I will investigate.
Do you get tracking information? Yes. If you need tracking information, just email me.
How do you package the item? Decks are shipped in padded envelopes, singles are sent in toploaders (hard plastic sleeves), and huge lots of cards are sent in cardboard boxes. Decks will be well protected by being wrapped around top loaders unless you get a deck box with the deck.
How often do you list items? I usually list 3-5 items each day.
When do you ship items? I usually ship items on Tuesday and Friday.

What's EDH (Elder Dragon Highlander)?
EDH Uses the following basic rules:
- You play a deck of 100 cards.
- No more than one of any card can be in your deck except basic lands.
- One card is your 'general,' a legendary creature.
- No cards can exist in your deck with a mana symbol anywhere on it that isn’t in the mana cost of your general. (Your general also can’t have any of the 'wrong color' in its text box.)
- You start the game with your general in the removed from game zone. You may play it as though it is in your hand (for two additional mana for each time you have played it in this way.)
- If your general deals 21 combat damage to the opponent, that player loses the game.
- Players start with 40 life in multiplayer games, and 30 life in 2 player games. (This is not mentioned in the official rules, but it is universally accepted.)
About Me
My name is James Gray I have played Magic for over 14 years. This year I have become especially addicted and I have been playing in about 7 draft tournaments each week. Right now I usually play at Superstars in San Jose California.
Other than playing Magic and creating games, my primary interest is philosophy. I have a Master’s degree in philosophy and I have taught three introductory classes in philosophy. I also wrote an introductory logic book that explains the importance of logic and evidence.
