In Febuary of 2003 one of my grand-daughters at 6 weeks of age stopped breathing, at her Doctor's Office, when she went in for her "Well Baby Check UP"She was flown to St Louis MO, Children's Hospital and her mother spent the next 6 months there and I spent every weekend with them. (5hr drive one way) At one point the doctors told us Avery would never have any quality of life, her brain was destroyed by Encephalitis and as soon as we took her off the vent she would die. We decided to take her off (it was the hardest thing I ever went through, I have tears in my eyes just thinking about that time.
We had always had healthy children in our families, we without meaning to, took this blessing for granted. Until you have a sick child you really don't realize what a miracle all life is and how fragile.
When we took Avery off the vent she kept breathing and she is now 3 years old and still with us, yes, she has brain damage but she is so much more than the doctors ever said she would be.
They still don't know how she does it, because the doctors say her brain and brain stem are destroyed.
In the next year after Avery got sick I changed my thinking about family and grand-children.
I decided to quit my job and start babysitting my grand-babies and devoting more time to family.
I still had to think of a way to replace my income.
I have seen many miracles in my life but none as great as my grand-daughter. I trusted God to bring Avery through, I would have to trust God to show me how to take care of my income. So I joined the EBay Community in February of 2004 one year after Avery became ill.
It has now been 3 years since I left that job and we have not lost anything and we have made it through every month without any financial hardship.
EBay has helped me financially and mentally.
I am 55, I watch my grandsons that are now 3 and doing eBay.
My Store is Magic China Closet. I say it is a Magical Treasure Closet that may have just about anything, you never know what you may find in that old Magical Closet.
I feel that everything I put in my store is something I like and picked out because I actually would buy it for me or one of my family members.
I take a personal interest in each item I place for sale in my store.
I am married to a wonderful man I love very much. We have 8 children between the two of us and now we have 19 grand-children.
I send every one of them cards on every holiday (in the mail even if they live in town) and every birthday; I send each a gift for their birthday's and Christmas.
I belong to several wonderful groups on EBay and have met many wonderful friend. I have also started a group called "Blast From the Past"

I have come to learn that on the internet you can not find a better site that will protect you and promote your business anymore than EBay, it is a wonderful place to grow both financially and spiritually.
