Most of the recordings I sell are Historically Significant to the History of Recovery from Alcoholism. All the CDs are made by me from source tapes. I am a working archivist actively restoring and preserving historic recordings.

Some people whom I've done business with wonder about what type of person I am.

I love Alcoholics Anonymous and find it's history very interesting. The methods many different members use to practice it's principles is also immensly interesting to me. I especially enjoy sound recordings of AA members because there is usually a great deal of spontinaity and feeling to them. I can identify with speaker much better than a writer.

As a hobby I collect and remaster historically significant AA talks to CD. I have taken college courses in sound editing and digital audio. I use a variety of signal processors, software programs and plugins to remove unwanted noise, fix volume level problems and otherwise restore the often less than perfect audio of historic AA recordings.

I offer a money back guarantee to anyone who feels the audio of a CD is not to their satisfaction. I honour that guarantee without hassle before or after feedback has been left.

My labels, auctions and marketing is simple. I am too busy working at my job or on recordings to waste time on superficial details like colour labels or elaborate listings.

Occasionally I am misunderstood. All a person sees is me selling stuff on Ebay and they take offence at my "profiting". While this is understandable when on considers that "All they know is I sell stuff". The money from these sales is used to pay for much more than materials, and I do donate my time and products to worthy institutions.

I donated a 300 CD changer and over 100 of my most historically significant CDs to the Archives at THE WILSON HOUSE. This is an ongoing project and I will regularly adding CDs as new material becomes available. Funds from my Ebay sales made this possible. Alone and without the financial support and encouragement of my customers I strongly doubt I would have ever gotten involed in such a project.

I hope the previous statments do not appear as "Boasting" ,and that I do not come across as one "Going hoarse from singing his own praises". I have been misunderstood by some who misread my success on Ebay because they don't see the less visible services I render to worthy institutions and the field of Alcoholics Anonymous Oral History.

Film and music preservation is a worthy field of service, and I am very happy with my efforts to preserve and encourge the enjoyment and use of Alcoholics Anonymous oral history. I especially like the fact that it can be used by people practicing the AA way of life. I hope to soon put samples of all my recordings online for free download.
