Back to previous page  I,MacMan My goal is to provide refurbished and upgraded Apple iMac computers to individuals who want the style and reliability found in the iMac line. I also try to provide the best customer service possible and maintain better than a 99% positive feedback rating. Though I have been known to sell items other than computers on eBay, the bulk of my time on eBay is spent on buying, refurbishing, upgrading, and reselling Apple iMacs. I specialize in the G3 models, both tray-loading and slot-loading. In the course of working on these machines, I always end up with spare parts, so chances are if you need something for an older iMac, I might have it. Feel free to contact me if you have an iMac question or problem and want some free advice (though since this is not my day job, I sometimes need time to respond). If you live in the Washington DC area, I might even be available to repair your computer (though not for free . . .). I began using Macs in 1990 as a refugee from DOSland, and I have never gone back (though the nature of my day job dictates that I have to use a PC). I still believe Macs are easier to use, and when you open up a Mac and get inside, you start to realize that the reason they cost more is that they are built to higher standards. For the most part the quality of Macs is unsurpassed- they are the "Volvos" of the computer world. I am always impressed that even though I am working with computers that are 4-5 years old and more, they are incredibly durable, and were designed with upgrading in mind in order to keep them relevant. I also appreciate Macs for their style- the iMac was truly a revolution in design. It showed that functionality did not have to be sacrificed in order to create a more pleasing form. So yes. . . . I am passionate about the traditional CRT iMacs, and am trying to do my part to keep them running and useful to today Mac user.
